The Persistence of Religion released in the UK

LONDON, UK: Publisher I.B. Taurus releases The Persistence of Religion: Comparative Perspectives on Modern Spirituality, a dialogue between Harvey Cox, Hollis Research Professor of Divinity at Harvard Divinity School, and Daisaku Ikeda. Based on a shared recognition of the revival of religious spirituality in the 21st century, the two examine a panorama of issues, from the struggle for human rights and nonviolence to the fruits and flaws of an Internet society, to nuclear abolition and higher education. Among the foremost of theologians in the U.S., Cox first met Ikeda at an address Ikeda delivered at Harvard in 1991; he then served as a panelist reviewing Ikeda’s second Harvard lecture two years later.
