SEOUL, South Korea: Publisher Yonhap News releases the Korean edition of Embracing the Future, a series of essays which first appeared in the English-language daily, The Japan Times between 2003 and 2008. In it, Ikeda seeks to renew faith in the boundless potential of human beings, particularly young people, to construct a future of peace despite the myriad challenges facing the world today. As with the original Japanese-English edition, the Korean version is released as a single bilingual volume containing 15 English essays and their Hangul versions.
