Jao-Ikeda dialogue published in Japanese

TOKYO, Japan: Publisher Ushio Shuppansha has released Bunka to geijutsu no tabiji (tentative translation: A Journey of Culture and the Arts), in Japanese. In this dialogue between Professor Emeritus Jao Tsung-I of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Daisaku Ikeda the two share their fascination with Chinese kanji characters and discuss the power of language, the Lotus Sutra’s insights into peace and other cultural issues. Born in 1917, Prof. Jao is a noted Confucian scholar, linguist and poet, as well as an authority on Buddhology and archaeology.
